In baseball world it really was a great one. I mean, I went three for three at my softball game last night. We won by two, it was an exciting game all around!!
Oh...you thought I was going to talk about the MLB? Snap, I was! Golly, it was a hoot. I just wish I could stay up a little longer... I fell asleep in the bottom of the 12th last night during the Phillies game. All those games, all those possibilities, all those nuances. It is what makes baseball so good and so exciting. The purity of the game is what does it for me. Just get out there and play ball. Every pitch counts. And, as I have grown quite fond of saying..."there's still a lot of baseball left" this year.
But I digress. Today's post was to intended pose a very important question: does TV get in the way of my life...or does life get in the way of TV? Think of Modern Family....I haven't seen any episodes of the new season yet, arrrrgh! But that is because I was playing softball the last two weeks. And I mean, I killed it last night. But then, last night, I was late to softball on account of TV. The Phillies had me hooked! Its a two way street.
Now tonight is the Jersey Shore. Vinny and Snooki!! I have only been routing for them since...SEASON 1. And I have totally amazing can't wait for it dinner plans.* The agony! Thank God for MTV constant re-runs. I wish I could say the same about Modern Family. Which, by the way, wasn't even available on-demand for me this week.
*Come back tomorrow for more!
